He grew up in Caltagirone and moved to Venice to study architecture, where he currently lives, combining his work as an architect with that of a ceramist and designer. He is interested in limited edition design, small series and self-production, favoring ceramics, which he considers his elective material. In Venice he founded the Spiazzi collective, which works in the field of visual arts, self-produced design and photography. He has participated in exhibitions and trade fairs in Italy and abroad and has done some artist residencies in China. Since 2014 he has coordinated the three-year course in Interior Design at IED Venice, where he teaches interior design.
