Handmade in Italy
Industrial designer since 1992, designs for several brands, and is artistic director of Abet Laminati and Dnd handles. Among his distinguishing features are the research and definition of new object typologies such as the Moscardino, a biodegradable multipurpose cutlery, designed with Matteo Ragni and awarded in 2001 with the Compasso d'Oro. In 2009 he was awarded of the Prize of Prizes for Innovation awarded to him by the President of the Italian Republic. He has always been attentive to the evolution of the relationship between artisan reality and design, in 2012 he launched Interno italiano, the "diffuse factory." In 2014 he won his second Compasso d'Oro for the Sfera series of manhole covers, designed with Matteo Ragni for Montini.
